classic console buying other than ebay?

i'm looking for a japanese famicom to finish my video game collection.

Obviously most of them ship from Japan for outrageous amounts of money.

Any other places to look here in the USA? Any one had any luck with websites

If you're looking for import stuff as vintage as a famicom you're not going to find it much cheaper than ebay. I mean there is Yahoo auctions as well but it's the same deal.

 

I can't imagine you're going to find many stores in the US that have famicoms in stock at a reasonable price.

Yes/No. I remember quite a few times in Chinatown in NYC that had plenty of Nintendo Famicom Consoles at a reasonable price. Yet, they always overstock in Chinatown.

You could always email 4jays in california, or atari2600.com (don't know where they are located).

They both carry multiple systems and might stumble across a Famicom from time to time.
