Red 5 #1 Posted December 29, 2007 Wife gives me $150 EBAY Gift Card for Christmas. I turned it into Smurfs Save the Day ! (and a silver label asteroids!) Other than the fact that the box is open, it is brand new. One box flap is a little rough, but everything else is absolutely mint. Tapes are all still sealed in the plastic. Earplug still in plastic bag. Tape player smells new. All pamphlets and manuals have never been opened. Cable still has twisty tie. Styrofoam is so very shiny and new. Thanks to the bad title and time of the year, I got the steal of the century. With the rest of the gift card I finally got my hands on a silver label asteroids and I still have a few bucks left. I know... I'm flaunting ... but who else can I flaunt this to that would actually give a crap? Thanks for letting me strut like a peacock. I now return you to your original programming. Zwackery #2 Posted December 29, 2007 I know they're meant for young'uns, but I actually found the Smurf games to have a certain charm in their playability.

Vic George 2K3 #4 Posted December 29, 2007 Wasn't something I missed having when I owned a 2600 or the Gemini clone, but nice find.
ATARIPITBULL #5 Posted December 30, 2007 What I find kind of funny about the Kid Vid & Sound 1 systems is that I never knew they existed when I was a kid, even though I & my friends were very much into Atari 2600, I just played the regular games like Crazy Climber, Raiders of the Lost Ark and so on but now as an adult and protector of Atari history I now have these things in my collection. Nice box therealred5! both of mine are complete also but both boxes have rips on the fronts.

Red 5 #8 Posted December 30, 2007 (edited) Congrats on the purchase! Any chance I could talk you into scanning the manual? Absolutely. I have an excellent color scanner in the office. I will scan it in and post it here in case Al wants to use it too. (Wednesday... I am on vacation) -edit- Which manual? The game manual, the Kid Vid manual or both?
