joeybastard #2 Posted January 4, 2008 Here's some info on Threshold available right here on AA: http://www.atariage.com/software_page.html...wareLabelID=557 It's an OK shooter, nothing great, but not bad. Next time I'd suggest you ask about 2600 games in the 2600 Forum. You'll get more responses
Lord Thag #3 Posted January 5, 2008 Average rarity, and rather fun, if derivative, shooter. Most of the Tigervision games are rare-very rare, and most of them are average to very good play wise. I really like the company. Stay away from both Miners and King Kong. Marauder and Jawbreaker are great.
+Psionic #4 Posted January 5, 2008 Dont know much about tigervision games is it rare? fun? 2600 Threshold is okay. Biggest problem with it is the fact that it's not really Threshold (which is a clone of Astro Blaster), it's more like a poor version of Megamania. If you want to play real Threshold, play the 8-bit or ColecoVision versions.
nester #5 Posted January 5, 2008 A good rule of thumb with Atari games is that the more rare they are, the less fun they are. This isn't always the case (Boing! is quite rare and quite good, the games published by Atari are usually fairly decent) but it does seem to usually be the case. Although I don't imagine any game at Salvation Army being too expensive, so you should probably pick it up.
