Paul Slocum #2 Posted August 1, 2002 I didn't know there was a contest. Anyone know what became of this? Also, I didn't realize it was a Dallas company. Maybe I'll go snap a picture of the building one day. -paul

MattyXB #4 Posted August 1, 2002 I've sent high-res scans of the box to Al a couple weeks ago but they haven't been posted yet. Ok, sorry. I have not know it. And my back from the box look bad. But have you send too manual scans, and the Win $5,000 letter? I know nothing about this contest. Have only buy it. I live in germany. And I think the contest was only for USA Gamers. PS: I have send for month too Asterix scans. A diffrent cartridge, box and manual. But nothing up yet. But I will wait. Maybe it will come in the future. So I have upload them on a site, that everyone can see them.
Chris++ #5 Posted August 1, 2002 Hey, kids! Another Chris's Fun Fact : (By the way, these are never made up, or jokes): VentureVision developed a Rescue Terra II as well. It was bought by Imagic, however, and renamed as Laser Gates. CF

Chris++ #7 Posted August 1, 2002 Perhaps Imagic bought Rescue Terra II, renamed it Inner Space, and then, when the deal to make a game based on that movie (not a good one, lawd knows) fell through, they changed it to Laser Gates? I know I've read in a few places that Laser Gates was RT II first. I wish my memory allowed me to actually point out the sources... CF
Albert #8 Posted August 1, 2002 I've sent high-res scans of the box to Al a couple weeks ago but they haven't been posted yet. Sorry for not getting scans up quickly lately. Preparations for CGE are really taking a lot of my free time, and after CGE I'll be able to catch up on a lot of AtariAge business. All these great scans will be posted! And Matty, your scans look great! Thank you! ..Al
