Gunstar #1 Posted January 8, 2008 (edited) on the heels of getting my scanner up and running again and posting the AvP scans, I've decided to start scanning and posting some other uncommen Jaguar coverage, mainly to for Jag memorabilia posterity, but also becuase I just got my scanner working again, after several years of it being on the repair to-do list and finally getting around to it; I want to use it(it's a $500 scanner/fax/printer, I ain't just going to toss it!)! The first is from Oct. '93 AtarUser magazine, a rare newprint mag that was by subscription only or could be obtained free in the just as rare Atari computer dealer shops back in the day. This edition was a special one with and glossy cover instead of newsprint, and has one of the Jaguar article pages in glossy color too, the rest is newsprint B/W. Many fans may never have seen this article, let alone the magazine. Has anyone ever seen THAT Kasumi Ninja pic!? Now that's an early one, and possibly the first ever! kevincal #2 Posted January 8, 2008 Nice scans man, indeed those are rare. I totally gave up on scanning Jag stuff...LOL It was fun for about 75-100 scans, then it just started feeling like unpaid work!
Gunstar #3 Posted January 8, 2008 I hear ya! I'm just having fun for now, and it appears there are others here quite happy to scan in all the mainstream Jaguar magazine memorabilia, so I'll only have a couple more items of a bit more obscurity to scan and I'll have had my fun and finally gotten these things online for posterity (this worn paper ain't going to last much longer). ovalbugmann #4 Posted January 8, 2008 Thanks Gunstar!!!! Love Jaguar Scans- never saw any from back in the day! These are Great! Thanks again for all your scans kevincal , I remember your threads on JS2 that had all those wonderful Jaguar scans!
ovalbugmann #5 Posted January 8, 2008 I like that part where it says; "one software experience will be included with the Jaguar." Although the technical aspects of the Jaguar hardware are very interesting to me, it's software of course, that makes a system.

Gunstar #8 Posted January 10, 2008 (edited) thats the white ninja in the picture that i was talking about.... Now that you say that, I remember you mentioning him, but I thought you were refering to a white ninja in a different picture, with desert-rock background and that was the white ninja you were talking about. Mainly becuase the white guy in the picture above looks more like a Karateka or Kung-fu master, not a Ninja; Ninja's generally wear masks, not headbands, and generally also have footwear, not bare feet. E.g., in that picture above the black-clothed guy on the right is a Ninja, the guy on the left I'm pretty sure is a Karateka. If I can find the pic I'm refering too, I'll scan it. +Sauron #10 Posted January 10, 2008 Didn't I post those same scans over a year ago? I'll have to save the scans you made, as they turned out better than mine and the ones I did are all gone thanks to a HD crash.

These scans are so nice becuase I'm using a $500 scanner.
