Sensible Soccer XBLA Help!

So I've played about 50 games against the computer, and over that time I've scored two goals. Can someone help me out here? What am I doing wrong?

Yeah, I suck at this game, too. Xbox Live is my first exposure to this game and after hearing for years just how great it is, I feel awful for being such a piece of shit at actually playing it.

 

Maybe we should play each other and see who really is the King of Soccer Suck (also known in some parts of the world as the Queen of Football Folly)!

I lost to the CPU 7-0 the other night. It was horrible. I'm a disgrace to the sport that I know very little about!
