The Save Mary "catch a plane" challenge

On Save Mary, a long time ago, someone reported being able to catch the plane in Save Mary.

I found where this was talked about on the StellaList about 7 years ago:

Here's the excerpt:

Heh, Heh. Yes, if they [planes] hit your crane cable, or the brick you are

carrying, the plane and your brick drop right there. However, if you are

not carrying a brick, it is possible to catch the airplane. I think you

have to have the vertical setting on the crane just right, and press the

button at just the right time. If you catch the airplane and place it off

to the side, it is quite cool! I'm not going to spoil it, but needless to

say it is very nice...

 

So, who's up for reproducing this, to find out "what you get"?

I know there are some people in this forum up for a challenge. Any takers?

You might get some takers over at the 7800 forum. There's a discussion of this under the SAVED MARY DUMPED thread that just began recently in the post.

I just played through 3 complete rounds of Save Mary (there are three different block styles, then a level of mixed styles, then it repeats). I didn't even see the plane of the 4th round which would have been about level 14 or so. I know I saw the plane once, but I just don't remember where. Once you get to round 4 the water rises so fast it's nearly impossible to beat if you make any mistakes.
