If you need/want anything from Japan...

If you need/want anything from Japan (video game related)...this guy kicks ass out loud. I normally wouldn't advertise for someone, especially since I'm not affiliated with him at all other than being a super satisfied customer, but this guy has been so unbelieveably helpful and amazing I feel I have to let my fellow video game collectors in on this fantastic seller.

The story goes like this: I have the blue US Pikachu N64 console. Ever since I found out that there was a Japanese only released orange version I had to have it. A few years ago I won one with a BIN on ebay, but that guy e-mailed me back and said that he couldn't find it in his warehouse and refunded my money. Some time later my former girlfriend surprised the shit out of me and got me one for my birthday. So now I had both, but only one controller for each. In the US extra matching controllers were never released, but they were in Japan so I've had my eyes open for 1 blue and 1 orange Pikachu controller so that I had a pair for each console. So a few months back I found a blue one on Ebay as well as a N64 yellow HORI mini pad from the same seller. I hit the BIN's for both, and selected the higher priced EMS shipping for the set. Four (yes 4) days later my package arrives from Japan. I open the box and both controllers are brand new and perfect in their boxes. Both boxes are individually bubble-wrapped, and all well padded within the shipping box itself. So on an off chance I e-mail the seller that I'm looking for a complete orange Pikachu controller and a complete Sin & Punishment as well and to let me know if he had them. He told me he didn't, but he would look for one of each and let me know. He found both, e-mailed me multiple pics of each, and asked if their condition was good enough for me completely expaining any imperfections of the items of even the smallest detail. I was more than happy with each, sent payment, and yes 4 days later my package arrived. Once again both items bagged and bubble-wrapped, and ample packaging in the box for overall protection. So while actively building my N64 collection I find out about Tetris 64. A Japanese only release of Tetris which had an available "Bio-Sensor" which plugs into the controller, and clips onto your ear to record your heartbeat, to make the pieces fall faster or slower depending on how you have it set in the options. I check ebay for a while and even looking through completed auctions, but I don't even find one. I e-mailed Toshi (seller's name by the way) that I'm looking for the game and sensor both complete. He explains that they're pretty rare, but he'll see what he can do. About a week later he finds one of each, sends me pics, and describes any imperfections. I wasn't completely satisfied with the condition of the box for the game, and he said he'd look for a better one for me. Sure enough a couple days later, he sends me pics of a new one, damn near perfect. I send payment and yes 4 days later I have my box of perfectly packaged video game goodness. So while I've been on my recent ColecoVision controller making kick I found out about a controller I've never seen before, but that should work great for a ColecoVison conversion. I e-mail Toshi again and sure enough he finds one, send me pics and he shipped it out today. So in about 3-5 days I should have my new controller that I'll be converting for the ColecoVision (stay tuned for that). So long story short, oh wait, little late for that, if you need anything from Japan video game related Toshi is the man. He speaks, or at least types English very well and apparently can find anything you could ever want. If he doesn't have it in his ebay store send him a message and he'll probably be able to find one for you. Again I stress that I'm not associated with Toshi at all, but as probably the best seller I've ever dealt with I though I'd share him with all of you.

I always have wanted a Pink Hello Kitty Dreamcast as long as that system has been around, lol, couldn't tell you why. But they are ungodly pricy ending at about $150 like this one - http://cgi.ebay.com/Sega-Dreamcast-Hello-K...4QQcmdZViewItem :) Crap the Blue one is selling at $250 and a pink at $299 - pure effing insanity! Sheesh and I thought the $150 was bad. :(

If I ever have the spare cash I will check with your guy first!

It's always nice to hear positive experiences with shipping overseas instead of all the horror stories. :)

Night all. ;)

That's amazing, western sellers wouldn't even dream of doing that.

I've used this seller as well in the past and he even refunded some of my shipping money when he was able to send for cheaper than estimated. It's rare to find a seller like this in any country!
