SOLD RCA STUDIO II sytem with 4 boxed games

Hi all,

 

Never really think I will play this much and could use the money more right now.

 

I have a very nice and complete RCA system here. It comes with 4 boxed games and I was able to test 2 of them today (pics included).

 

The system seemed to have static on the screen, I tinkered with the connections and it did not change much. I tried adjusting the potentiameters inside slightly and it did get better, but it is fully playable as it is. I would imagine if you wanted a system it is for collection completeness anyway, not a great "playing" system anyway.

 

System is in good shape, some light yellowing but no chips or breaks. Chrome trim paint shows some wear but overall very good condition. Buttons all work, cables are in good condition. Cartridge slot is clean and tested; about as playable an antique as you can get. New power supply included and an RF adapter block to push on to a standard coaxial connection.

 

I am asking $55 SHIPPED in the US. Paypal, money order, etc. ok. If you are international, PM me and lets figure out shipping BEFORE you buy it.

I would rather it stayed between collectors than resellers as its a neat piece. I am not into the obscure stuff quite as much anymore so its time to move on.

We had one of these when I was a kid. Just for nostalgic purposes, I'd be tempted by this if I weren't in decluttering mode right now. I'll probably end up waiting until I stumble across an unboxed, ratty garage sale find.

How does $45 shipped sound? Would that entice you at all? I am impressed you have seen these at garage sales, too I hunted the net for a year (mind you this was EARLY ebay days) to find one...

I found one earlier this year at a flea market with a bunch of games for $2.00. Only problem, no powersupply or RF adapter! I hear I'm not missing much by not plugging it in anyway.....
