opeygon #1 Posted January 28, 2008 (edited) anybody ever have this happen before? it happend to me after week two. i started week three and right away knew something was amiss because all my plays had changed. i reset and went to the team data screen to change the plays back to the ones i wanted. but all the plays were designed for the qb tim rosenbach. the photo is of my list of starters. you can see that all my starters are tim rosenbach. when i play a game like this, all my players are tim rosenbach. i can change them back to the correct lineup, but it's still pretty dam weird. oh ya, this hasn't effected any other teams, as far as i've seen. Wow.. I've been playing this game for years and dont recall ever seeing that happen. Even when Im playing in a season and using a different team, I still like too change all the teams lineups to give them their best players. I have yet to have that happen while changing the Cards lineup. After week 2 during a season. I'll play this tonight and see if this happens.
opeygon #6 Posted February 7, 2008 hey thanks for responding NES yeah.. never have seen that one.. was there an injury by chance? nope no injuries Wow.. I've been playing this game for years and dont recall ever seeing that happen. I have yet to have that happen while changing the Cards lineup. After week 2 during a season. I'll play this tonight and see if this happens. ya i've been playing this game for at least sixteen years and i've never seen it happen. whats crazy is i reset and it was still like this. i even took the game out and it was still like that. i had to change the lineup and my plays to get everything back to normal. i thought it was pretty crazy. it hasnt happend since either, though i havent played too much lately. using the cards, i cant get past week seven without losing. thats usually when i give up. its just too damn hard to win with a shitty team. hey joe c. what do you mean change the lineups to give them the best players? i assumed the best players were usually the starters. sometimes, i change the lineup of my opponent to all the second string players to give my sorry cards a better chance, but i usually end up losing anyway. i can only win the super bowl with that eras good teams, like the niners, giants, bills, broncs ect... vw.fe2o3 #7 Posted February 7, 2008 I've heard of Phil Simms being at every position before. Anyone have a manual for the SNES version? I can't find one online anywhere. Only finding TSB 3 manuals.

Im just saying that before I start the season, I adjust all the team rosters by putting in the players that I believe are the best at each position, for each team, to make the season as difficult as possible. I know the starters are usually the best, but some teams have some guys who should be starting that are on the bench. I havent had time to try this yet.. I'll get back to you soon

Joe C. #11 Posted February 8, 2008 well.. after week 3 still no sign of Rosenbach taking over my team. Johnny Johnson who was injured early in week 1, is still on the injured list and Via Sikahema leads the league in receiving and tops in Rushing and kick returns. when did you find out this glitch? before the game started? halftime? just curious

Johnny Johnson who was injured early in week 1, is still on the injured list and Via Sikahema leads the league in receiving and tops in Rushing and kick returns. when did you find out this glitch? before the game started? halftime? just curious just after i recieved the kickoff, i went to select my first offensive play and noticed that all my running plays were designed for tim rosenbach. i reset and checked the team data for the cardinals and noticed that all my plays had changed, and all my offensive starters were time rosenbach. if it makes any difference, just after week two, i went and changed my plays to ones that i thought were better suited to my team. but i never changed any of the players in my lineup. i then started week three, and thats when i noticed. btw: via sikahema was awesome! i remember watching him in the late 80's/early 90's Edited February 9, 2008 by opeygon
