Control Panel help

Need a bit of help with a control panel.

 

It is a small control panel... only a few buttons, a paddle, and a joystick.

 

I don't know how to do one, first off. One of my main concerns are how to do the actual Control panel overlay... the artwork for it, etc. Then I'm curious as to what I should rint it on, if I should take it to Kinkos for pritting, etc.

 

Lots of questions. Any tips or words of advice from fellow members? Good links I should check out?

I also need hep with the monitor bezel. What have you done to make it look good? Not just from a distance... but up close. I'd order one of those plastic bezels, but they won't have the size I need (I'm using an odd screen --- 5-6 inches).

 

Any links for that.. or ideas that you all have done on your one machines (mame or arcade). I just don't think spraypainting the back of the glass/plexi-glass will look right.

As for your monitor bezel.

You could just get a peice of smoked glass or maybe windo tint for your existing glass

that would do a decent job of hiding your monitor.
