S1500 #1 Posted January 31, 2008 Long story short: I might be taking a business trip to Taipei, Taiwan. What sort of video game purchasing hilairty can ensue there? I know of one person already there(coworker) who can get me a heads up on some stuff there, perhaps pre-seeking a Chintendo Vii before I get there. I know it's not China, but there has GOT to be some good video game knockoff goods there. I want my Wii knockoff, dangit! I want to redeem myself for not shopping enough in Akihabara in Japan just 4 months prior!

The U.S. Chinatown's have Bootleg products all over the place. Chinatown New York, San Francisco, Seattle, Chicago, & Los Angeles certainly have those Chintendo Vii's. I wouldn't call it Pirate Junk. I always go to Chinatown to purchase the Bootleg, Pirate goodies all the time. Alot of them are pretty cool & nobody calls the authorities either. I no Atariage doesn't support fake knock-offs, but living in NYC, your so use to it that you overlook the situation & except it for what it is. Plus, the pirate stuff sells like crazy! I have a Vii as well. I think its great. Anthony.... Edited January 31, 2008 by fdurso224
