vdub_bobby #22 Posted September 17, 2008 I'd really like to see the contest moved somewhere more stable; as it is now I'm mostly unwilling to participate because things are so goofy. The last straw for me was when all my votes and comments disappeared a year or two ago. It's a lot of time invested to play, evaluate, and comment on all the games (let alone to actually write and submit a game) and to see that all mysteriously disappear was really disheartening; hard to get motivated again. Yeah, I should have mentioned it's just for archival purposes; it had accumulated thousands of spam posts so posting was disabled, and finally, all those have been cleaned up. Though if the current organizers can't keep a forum up, maybe we should at least take that back? I agree with Thomas, that's a very large part of the fun of the competition.
