Cybergoth #1 Posted February 9, 2008 Hi there! Is it possible to replace them, or can I trash my Golden Axe Warrior now? I opened the cartridge and the battery itself is soldered onto the board. It's like a standard Lithium battery for wrist-watches, but has two feet attached. Sony branded. Greetings, Manuel
Cybergoth #2 Posted February 9, 2008 This one here is it almost: CR 2032 LP The one in GAW is also a CR 2032, but with only two pins, which are on opposite sides of it. Anyone knowing a source for those?
+Psionic #3 Posted February 9, 2008 Anyone knowing a source for those? I'm not sure, as I never had to change it (my Golden Axe Warrior still saves), but replacements are definitely available.

Anyone knowing a source for those? I'd check your local battery replacement store, like a Batteries Plus. They carry the CR2032 coin cells, and I'm willing to bet they also stock in some solder-in holders that will make it work with the cart board.
shadow460 #5 Posted February 9, 2008 I've had many of those PCB mounted batteries replaced. It's all been covered here, save for the fact you might have to order one with the tabs on it.
