HFK #1 Posted February 11, 2008 (edited) I have a cart that is about 3/4 the size of a regular with just a small end label that says 'chopper command'. The board inside has no cover on the chip and is labeled 'copper command'. When looking at the back of the board it is definetly hand soldered. I opened up a stampede to compare the two. When the game is turned on instead of the Activision at the bottom is a box with an S in it. Is this something someone threw together? Is it a cart from Brazil or something missing a label? CPUWIZ #2 Posted February 11, 2008 Judging by the look of the PCB and the flux residue on the solder side, my money is 100% on Brazillian.
HFK #3 Posted February 11, 2008 Any idea what the 'S' is for? Judging by the look of the PCB and the flux residue on the solder side, my money is 100% on Brazillian.
+Omegamatrix #4 Posted February 11, 2008 100% a pirate, but what company? There are so many. Look how many companies drop down when you click publisher here (note some are originals, and some pirates): http://www.atarimania.com/rech_advanced.ph...amp;TYPE_CODE=G
Rom Hunter #5 Posted February 11, 2008 (edited) Any idea what the 'S' is for?Not really. It could be a SN Games title: http://www.atarimania.com/lst_soft.php?MEN...n_sauver=Search Maybe Sr. Ferraz or Tom Brazil know more about that logo. HFK #6 Posted February 13, 2008 Well, has anyone seen one of these short carts before? They were obviously manufactured by someone. I'm really just curious where this goes in my collection, I know it's not valuable, but it is odd to me.
Rom Hunter #7 Posted February 13, 2008 I've seen a lot of these short carts. Most of them are Brazilian.
