Does anyone know where I can find plastic pages for manuals like this?

Recommended Posts

Sorry in advance if this question belongs somewhere else.

I saw this pic (see below), on a webpage.

Looks like a great way to store manuals.

However, I have no clue where I might be able to find these (acid free.)

Does anyone have any suggestions?

Thanks in advance!

Steve

Well...I was going to link to the AA store, Al used to sell those here. Guess he ran out?

Yeah, I sent him a pm but never heard back from him...

Must be busy.

Yeah, I'm super busy right now, sorry for not responding. I wasn't able to find a decent source for these to sell in the store and make it worthwhile.

If you can still find a photography store in your area, they should have some similar to those shown in PingvinBlueJeans' link (5" x 7" photo pages).

I use them too, but my binder has the rare closer ring spacing so I have to re-punch all my pages to make them fit. But when I saw that binder in the thrift store, I knew I had to have it for my manuals. It's from one of those oh-so-'80s mail/TV subscription marketing things, where the first month they send you a binder and some pages (and probably some worthless incentive trinkets), then every month as long as you keep paying they send you more pages until by the time the binder is full, it's cost you several hundred dollars. ;) This one has awesome artwork of stars, planets and other cosmic phenomena and is entitled "Secrets of the Universe"! Sadly, it didn't have any of the original pages in it when I found it. :(

I use Ultra Pro 2-Pocket 5" X 7" sheets that I buy from a local sportscards store. They cost approximately 20 cents each or $17.50 for a box of 100. They are available on-line by searching Ultra Pro 2-pocket. They are archival, no pvc, acid free and come with standard 3 hole spacing. They hold most instructions, although some Atari Corp black and white instructions are too large and require 8" x 10" one pocket sheets.
