How to get direct feed footage from PC

Hey, I'm wanting to grab some video footage from my Quake 3 Adventure map. Thought it might be fun to have it on YouTube.

 

Anyway, it's been awhile. Does Quake 3 have a video capture built into it or is there some other way to do it? How do the pros capture video from a computer game?
