Blackjack #1 Posted February 20, 2008 Not that I have the money right now anyway...... but I was wondering if I wanted a game to be made (small game like solitaire or battleship, maybe in flash), how would one go about getting that done? I remember seeing a company online several years ago that did this sort of thing, but I can't find them anymore.
+Random Terrain #2 Posted February 20, 2008 (edited) If you are a nonprogrammer and still would like to make your own online games, Multimedia Fusion 2 will soon let us make online Java games. You could make your own online games and not have to worry about anything getting lost in translation. Blackjack #3 Posted February 20, 2008 That does look interesting. I'd want the quality at a level far surpassing what I'm capable of though. Not only am I not a programmer, but I have the artistic ability of the average gorilla...... in fact I may even be somewhat less artistic than the average gorilla

No need for great artistic ability since the 3D program would take care of the lighting and shading. All you'd have to do is come up with the shapes. You could make photo-realistic objects for games even if you have the artistic ability of a gorilla wearing boxing gloves. dalum #6 Posted February 21, 2008 There's lots of armchair game builder engines out there. Old skool ones like Klik N Play or Klik N Create and some good RPG builders out there. A basic idea of logic and a VERY low learning curve for many of those tools.
