I don't know about good 2600 stuff there but if you are into classic arcade games go to Disney Quest at the Disney marketplace. Marketplace is free and has some neat shops but at Disney Quest you pay a flat fee to get in and all the games are free. Great classic arcade game section plus alot of new v/r type stuff you can try too. If I were you I would try to go during the week though.

If you don't mind doing some driving (or possibly paying tolls), there are two places which I will suggest for you. There is one shop on East Colonial Drive called "S&F Video Games". They usually sell a few items that are Atari-related there. The next is out in the city of Sanford called "Flea World". There are a few booths that sell Atari 2600 titles and such as well (I managed to snag another Heavy Sixer driving controller and H-S pair of paddles there for 'bout five bucks a pop, YMMV of course). To get there, take I-4 East to Florida State Road 408 East (you'll pay tolls on this and the next road), from 408-East take it to Florida State Road 417 North (again, a toll road), and take the Sanford exit. At the stop light, take a left and it will be on your left.

I would definitely recommend the booth "Kids at Heart" for some good 2600 stuff, but if you don't mind a little cleaning and work, you can get by over at the "Video Game Trader" booth too. The flea market has a guide so you can find what booths are where.

"S&F Video Games"

Is that the one between Wendys and the bank? Last time I went there they wanted to give me $10 for a full Atari rig with like 20 games. I live a couple of blocks from there, so I will take a look tomorrow Monday and see what they are up to.

It's inside the whole Disney area, but it's not on a park. I believe you can take a bus or shuttle from any park to DD.

It's not in one of the actual parks it is in what is called downtown disney or marketplace. Believe me, they make sure there are plenty of signs to get there. Free parking and there are quite a few huge stores and places to eat etc. there also. You'll be glad you went to the arcade, lotsa cool stuff.

It is in downtown Disney which is also called marketplace because of the shops.

The arcade itself is called Disney Quest.

They currently have over 180 games all set on free play once you get in and much more.

Let us know how your trip goes and what you think of Disney. Have fun.

Oh, I went by S&F. Don't bother if you are just looking for Atari stuff. They have about 20 commons and all are sun-faded. I bet the handfull I unloaded there 5-6 years ago are most of those :P

But they do have quite the NES and SNES inventory.

It's not video games, but if you are a fan of comics (and all the related products), be sure to swing by Megacon:

Actually, the last several comic cons I've been to, I noticed a few dealers putting out NES or SNES stuff, so you never know, you might get lucky.

Sometimes they have a few gems actually. I managed to get a loose "Sorcerer's Apprentice" in rather decent condition from 'em.

3/4 times I go Flea World it's great - I've found quite a few decent 2600 finds there (among stuff for other consoles). Particularly at Game Traders. I've only been to S&F a couple of times, and never ended up buying anything. It's a cool store, but they don't seem to have what I want. Never seen any decent pre-crash stuff there.

There's also a big flea market in Kissimmee, but I've never been. I've just seen ads for it. Anyone?

Has anyone in the area been to Rocky's Replay arcade on 436? My wife drove past that a couple weeks ago and called to tell me "hey, I found a real arcade!" but I haven't had a chance to stop in. I'm wondering if it has any good classic games.

I've been to the one in Kissimmee, there's really nothing for classic games there. As far as Rocky's Replay goes, maybe an original Neo-Geo "Bust-A-Move" machine and an Ultracade cab. That's about it.
