What, he's given up on his restaurant "chain" already? Sorry, but after his last free ad, er interview, I don't have much respect for the man. Enjoyed the article but what a bunch of childish toads in the comment section afterwards...
Gregory DG #4 Posted February 28, 2008 Yeah, if it wasn't such a waste of time, I'd have left a comment that said, "Nolan was long gone before E.T. came out. Learn your history punks!"
Gabriel #5 Posted February 28, 2008 That was really good! Enjoyed the article but what a bunch of childish toads in the comment section afterwards... Some of the comments are pretty bad, but you have to consider NB's history of interviews. For the past several years, he's interviewed occasionally as a sort of filler piece. He uses the time to ingratiate himself with whatever is hot at the time, and then plugs his latest scheme. Most recently, he has been trying to affiliate himself with Wii-style gaming and the "videogames are too violent" crowd while slipping in a bit of exposure for his restaurant enterprise. I am curious if anyone can track down his "prediction" that the Wii would be a runaway hit. I do seem to recall him backing that particular horse, but I'd like to see what he said again to see if he backed it as firmly as he implies here or if he merely hedged his bets and said it would sell well enough. Or, you could just look to see what Ralph Baer said and then assume Bushnell copied it.
