FND #1 Posted February 29, 2008 Now we know who to thank for the new Feedback changes Thanks Brian Burke Director, Global Feedback Policy http://www2.ebay.com/aw/core/200802.shtml#2008-02-28105621
Zwackery #2 Posted February 29, 2008 "What's more – coming in May, we will provide credit for ALL repeat transactions that occurred between 1996 and February 2008." I guess this is how they have to create more Power Sellers.
taxman #3 Posted February 29, 2008 (edited) Which also means so now sellers can get credit for each negative feedback left by the same jackass. This will really screw you over when they buy multiple items from you only with the intent to scam you. Edited February 29, 2008 by taxman
FND #4 Posted February 29, 2008 (edited) They are now rolling out a new feedback page which has a Lifetime Summary total which will include a total of all Lifetime positive and negative. And No the Neg's will not disappear after a year they will still be displayed in the LifeTime Totals they will just not be used to calculate the positive percentage after 12 months This should be very confusing when buyers see large numbers of negativs with 100% feedback ? I can only see this as another way Ebay is trying to undermind there own feedback system Edited February 29, 2008 by FND
Almost Rice #5 Posted March 3, 2008 Ebay probably has calculated how much a seller would make more if their feedback was higher. It sound like a financial decision and will deceive lazy buyers.
gklinger #6 Posted March 5, 2008 (edited) Bye bye, eBay. I wish Google would create an auction site. Perhaps I'm being naive but based on their other sites, I think they could do it right and I'm pretty sure they're the only company with the resources to crush eBay. Heck, forget crushing them. I would be happy for there to be a viable alternative so that eBay wouldn't be so cocky. (Yeah, I'm bitter.) Edited March 5, 2008 by gklinger

You are not alone in this sentiment, I feel the same way and plenty of other people have echoed the same exact feelings to me. I'm sure Google has heard this countless times, and I'd really love to see them give eBay some competition in the auction marketplace. Please, SOMEONE do it!! ..Al
jetset #8 Posted March 5, 2008 It's still the best move ebay has made in years. Thank you Brian!
