A bit depressed.............

I vow to go to the next classic gaming expo.....I can just imagine the fun everyone is having right now.....I wish I was there....anyone a little down this weekend because they could not go?

Nah, I remember when it was just the Atari Expo(?) before it came to be known as the "CGE", now THAT I wanted to go to. But I think these days it's more just people peddling stuff to buy which is good in a way, but I'll pass. If it was CLOSER and easier to get to... sure I'd go But I'm not willing to take a plane trip for it

yeah it sucks i could not get the time to go a friend is there right now but o wel have no money anyway just a sign of the times i guess

My wife shares my passion for the old atari, and we both wanted to go, but at work, we pick our vacation weeks a year ahead of time.

We hope to attend the philly classic next year, although, with364 games, I wonder just how much more is out there????

I am not depressed but I would have like to have gone too. It would be great to see all those systems and all the great arcade games that I used to remember all set on free play. I might not even have time to buy stuff at the table as I might have to be pulled away from some of them.

 

Oh well, I guess I can start planning for next year.

I'd probably be more bumbed about it if I didn't live so close to Philadelphia. I've made the last two PhillyClassics and will certainly be in attendance again in 2003. It makes missing the CGE much easier to take!
