STILL looking for a 7800 console

Yep, I'm still looking for a 7800 console with an AC adapter, nothing else. All leads have proven to be fruitless.

 

As you may or may not be aware, my trade list is pretty pathetic right now. It's rough out there. But, if someone has a console they would be willing to part with, I'm sure that we can work something out.

Yes, that is a little more than what I want. Sorry if I sound picky, but I'm looking for just the console and the ac adapter. I mainly want to use it as a back up to my existing system. I almost don't care what shape it is in, as long as it works, it doesn't smoke, houses little critters, or glows in the dark for a few examples.

 

But I am still looking and I HOPE someone here does have one. Anybody??????

I have one that has a chip out of the plastic on the top part where it curves underneath ,,, it doesnt have the AC plug and also i cant find it

lonesome: I don't know the exact shape of it, but I may have one (I just picked up 2 2600s, 1 7800 and 90 games today on ebay for a fairly decent price). I was initally thinking of trading it for carts that I need in my collection (with the 90 games today my total collection only amasses about 200 or so ).

 

Keep me posted in this thread and when I receive the other one we can discuss what to do

Thanks cap. I actually found a source for a console. But, there is no ac adapter. If you get an ac adapter in your lot, let me know.

 

Now I just need an ac adapter. So, now that is the new question I am throwing out here. Feel free to check my trade list (as pathetic as it is right now), or maybe a cash deal can be worked out.

 

Hopefully someone can help me here.

Did you know you can get a universal one at WALL-MART in the electronics dept. that will work?

Actually, the 7800 uses a "unique" adapter with a "blue squarish thingie" (technical lingo there folks) as the part that plugs into the 7800. So, unfortunatly, a universal adapter probably wouldn't work, unless, there was a way to "modify" it to fit, but since I'm not that techie, I'll opt for an original.

Thats right! I forgot it had that blue connector. Sorry about that . I used to have a 7800 but I got tired of having to force the 2600 games in. I guess thats why I like the Jr. so much it will take the red label games with no problem.

Well, Cap, when you get that, would you part with just the ac adapter? If not, what would you want for the console and adapter. Check out my trade list and see if there is anything there you want. If I don't have anything there, look at my main list and maybe, just maybe, we can work something out. Let me know.
