So how hard is it to find a Q Bert cocktail table?

Recommended Posts

Hello

I finally have space for this, I want one but don't even know where to start. I can't seem to locate one, is this a rarer one or something? Any help would be great, Thanks guys :)

I can't say I've seen many around. The only one I know of is the one at Funspot.

Good luck in your search!

Hey CC,

I will keep my eyes peeled for you. I do think you are going to have a tough time finding that one in CT form. Its not that common a piece in upright, and cocktails tend to be a really rare find. I would suggest getting somebody on the inside of things on your side. Ultimately you may pay a finders fee but its worth it (in the form of a higher resale price than if you find the original owner). I can suggest a few folks, but I would try RGVAC or VAPS first and see whats shaking over there.

You know, pieces like this can slide cleanly under a radar. If you know exactly what you are looking for, you might find a converted one at an auction for next to nothing and do the resto on it. Hard to say though...I could not pick one out of a crowd!

Hey guys, thanks for all the help :)

I have been hesitant to post a wanted thread for it anywhere yet as it seems I won't be picking this one up cheap - lol - I was crossing my fingers that a nice one would be in the $500-$750 range but it's not looking that way. I'll start saving cash and see if one pops up, of course if anyone sees one in the mean time (Cassidy?) be sure to let me know, I might be able to dust off the Visa Card for a nice one. I do have a back up second choice but it is equally rare and expensive. On the plus side they have a nice restored one at Quarterarcade right now..... :ponder: Damn my expensive taste :D

If I go with the Joust I will still get a Q*Bert, it will just be an upright which I can make room for if I ditch my Super Off Road.....hmmm...Decisions, Decisions... :ponder: that might just work......

try googling arcade autions, at auction you should be able to find one for $400 or so. Not very common these days.

Well since my hunt for a Q*Bert may take a while I got a replacement game for the time being, coudn't stand having an open space without a game in it - lol

It is just an Arkanoid that I was able to trade for, fun game but still want the Qbert :)

My Wife checked (she is better at finding stuff online then me) and we did find one in CA that sold in 2006 for $500 that was in great shape :)
