If you could have a video game character as your sidekick, who'd it be?

Just wondering which video game character people would like to have as their sidekick or partner or whatever. Mine would be:

 

Sonic

 

Recently, as indicated my signature(this started yesterday), I've been going through Sonic Mania(going nuts over something, just like I did with Gradius for the past 3 months), and I thought, what'd be better than to have Sonic standing beside me? I just find him to be the coolest of all characters I've ever seen, period. Who knows, if he'd actually be by my side, I could use him as my bodyguard.

 

So who'll be your sidekick? Post who it is(no need to say why unless you want to) and what you'd want he/she to be there for. NO BASHING, PLEASE!

Me too! I've been playing more Sonic lately than any other game, I even got a couple of the new handhelds that have come out -- if you haven't tried one and you like Sonic, get one, you'll LOVE it.

 

But I would have Tails as my sidekick.

He speeds up as there are more dots eaten or something, isn't it? I think it's called a "Cruise Elroy" or something, but maybe that's just Ms. PacMan. I like PacMan enough to read strategy guides that say that sort of thing, but not enough to ever take advantage of it myself. It's like studying cults. They're interesting, but I'm not signing up.

The Rush Jet would be cool to use, and then there's Rush Marine, and some fun could be had with the Rush Coil too. When I'm in a bad mood, I can put on the Rush Power Suit and smash a few cars... and then fly away with the Rush Jet Suit when the cops arrive.
