Simon #1 Posted March 25, 2008 Hi, the Demo Party "BreakPoint 2008" was held in Germany on the last weekend. I contributed to the "Console/Wild-Competition" with the attached demo "4K4U" (meaning: 4 kilobytes for you) for the Atari VCS. It contains seven demo parts showing graphical effects and a music playing along. The demo reached the 6th place out of 13 competitors... I'm looking forward to your feedback. A limited amount of cartridges is already produced and is available soon. I'll add a website for this production and its sale to http://www.quernhorst.de/atari soon. Thanks, Simon 4K4U.bin

cosmosiss #4 Posted March 25, 2008 Server is up, but atari dir doesn't exist yet. Anywhoo, I'll be interested in a cart if the price is right. This will work well in my own parties
Emehr #5 Posted March 26, 2008 Very nice I always like seeing these tech demos and seeing what new effects can be done with Stella. Nice music too!

Impaler_26 #8 Posted March 26, 2008 Cool Demo, keep 'em coming! I liked the part with the 2 Stars best (and the bikini-chick ). The Tune sounds somehow familiar...

Simon #11 Posted March 27, 2008 Hello, thanks for your kind words concerning the demo. Good to hear that you like it. Someone also uploaded it to youtube.com and to pouet.net (demo scene database). Website down Simon? Yes, unfortunately. My brother forgot to pay the annual fee for the webhosting... again. It should be up in a few days again - and until then I'll have the "4K4U" site ready (along with the ordering option). Later, Simon
moderntimes99 #12 Posted March 28, 2008 Nice demo! Some parts actually looks like they were taken from a ZX Spectrum demo - refreshingly minimalistic! Regards, Moderntimes 99 / Erik Ehrling (Sweden)
