MFoolsRun #1 Posted March 26, 2008 There's a bare VTech Socrates sitting at one of my Goodwills. Does this system have any value in the marketplace? I have no interest in it, but perhaps it'd be worth picking up for trade?

The only reason anyone even still owns a Pico for example was that it was made by Sega. Typically educational software and hardware are basically valueless. phaxda #3 Posted March 26, 2008 (edited) If you look at my blog, you can see my story of how I bought one of these for $1 a couple of weeks ago after talking the seller down from $2. Totally cracked me up. I thought my wife would kill me for bringing it home, but she actually wound up playing with it. It's probably not even worth selling; I'll likely stash it in a closet and then give it away on craigslist or something when I move next. Actually if that one at the thrift has any of the games, I'd be willing to take them. The only one I have is "Hodge-Podge."
