today i bought shenmue because i had been hearing about it on the forum

for 9.99 cib is it rare? i had never played it b4 gimme some info if you can i'd appreciate it did i get a good deal it was cib by the way

it didn't sell well, but I'd hardly call it rare. ebay value for cib is $10 buy it now with another $5 shipping. soundsl like you did 50% better than current ebay price. While I *really* dislike shemue, it is a neat game to look at, and I'm sure you'll get your money's worth the first time an airplane flies overhead. The game does have it's moments.

 

It features a very rich and detailed environment which is quite fun to explore, but not enough actual 'game'--and what game there is, tends to manifest itself in a series of annoying, seemingly pointless mini-games.
