Gury
Hi there, Here is a cute little game called Pongo, 100% machine code, scrolling jumping type game from the year of 1985, designed by Mark Riley. He kindly allowed me to put it here for downloading. It was converted from a CAS file to an XEX file by Fandal. This game is freeware now. Enjoy! Big_Mo
Thank you Mark and Gary!, A new colorful game from Atari. Looks nice! *From* Atari? I tried playing it. It's needlessly difficult even at the beginning. You have to figure out to jump out of ruts right at the start. MaPa
It reminds me game Snokie, similar level graphics (the ground), sounds (the pitch depends of Y-pos of player) ...
www.atarimania.com
How about more information? Same Mark Riley who wrote games for Datasoft? Was the program written for fun or was it to be a bigger project? What do you mean that the "game is freeware now"? Was it a type-in? Was it sold commercially on tape? -- Atari Frog http://www.atarimania.com

He was going to send it, but he decided that he wanted to become a rock star instead He stopped using his Atari and learnt to play the guitar. Anyway, he is glad the game is now uploaded, ready for all Atarians to enjoy it.
