nathanallan #1 Posted April 4, 2008 Since I've been on a Sega kick, I've taken an interest into looking for homebrews, hacks, etc. I found beggar Prince, and that looks really interesting and fun, so I asked the company what was coming. They are here. There's a horizontil scroller for the Lynx and a new RPG coming out for the Genesis, whixh I think is both really cool and extremely over-due! Both systems have untapped potential for fun games. I wanted to pass this along, since this is happy news. One thing, I said "homebrews rock!" at the end of my email, and he politely corrected me. I stand corrected. Nathan
Atari5200 #2 Posted April 4, 2008 Zaku for the Lynx looks like a clone or maybe even a hack of Air Zonk.
DeathAdderSF #3 Posted December 31, 2008 Hello. Zaku for the Lynx looks like a clone or maybe even a hack of Air Zonk. Talk about an old post, but I wanted to clarify something: Zaku for the Atari Lynx is a 100% brand new and original game, with all content being created from scratch by the development team. While Air Zonk was an inspiration to the developer, Zaku is most certainly not a 'clone' or 'hack' of that game. Please refer to the official Zaku website for more information, or to sign up for the Zaku mailing list. If you have any questions about the game, please feel free to contact me directly. Best wishes for 2009!
nathanallan #4 Posted April 15, 2009 Wow, old thread. Better to have it alive again than have a new one, I say. Brandon, any plans for another game for the Genesis (other than Wu Kong, I mean)? Keychains, messenger bags... t-shirts?? j/k, but it would be nice to get a new maybe arcade set of minigames on one Genny cart. You guys' work is really good, left me wanting more!
