tyranthraxus #4 Posted April 7, 2008 I bet there is a guy posting on DP about his great trade getting a Midway cab for some DC copies. I've got a box of PS1 copies that I'll trade for Tempest
opeygon #5 Posted April 7, 2008 i agree with everyone else. you should be callin that dude up to get your cab back. unless we're all misunderstanding you (if we are please clarify). i don't know where you are at, but if you were in phoenix i would have given you a couple hundred for it easy (if i had the money, of course). and i could name at least a copuple other guys who would too. if you wanted roms, you can get them for free at numerous sites. i've got a vast library of roms for all types of different systems from 2600 to mame. Reaperman #15 Posted April 9, 2008 (edited) I dunno, if it was one of those fakey looking "arcade" machines they sell at discount stores, (the ones that take carts) at least you cleared out some bulky junk. I probably would have held out for saturn backups though. I had a great goodwill imported pirate saturn cd find once... theking21083 #22 Posted April 10, 2008 Resident Evil Code Veronica, Sonic Adventure, House of the Dead 2, Skies of Arcadia, and Spawn are some good games. I don't know why the Power Stone 2 costs more, it's still lots of fun but I think that they overdid it. The first one had a simple and fun concept. Reaperman #25 Posted April 10, 2008 (edited) nice reaperman yea the guy that took the arcade was an old man around early 50s and imowas a dreamcast wiz he had so many programs it was sick 3 of the games didn't work and he told me not to worry that he would take care of it and one of those games was powerstone 2 cant wait to get my hands on that so it was one of those cabs then? I think the initial negative response to your trade was based upon assuming that it was a high quality game, rather than a noac and a 13 inch tv in a huge box. I really think those should have been bartops...the build quality wouldn't have shown and everybody'd have space for it. I feel for the EX-GF who bought it for you. They're awfully expensive, and don't really make the average retrogamer as happy as one would think... Really the deal was more about getting rid of 12 games that took up a lot of room and swapping them for a bunch of better ones which take up no space. I used to throw together dreamcast boots and sell them back when I was young and evil. Some of the newer dreamcasts really didn't like them, though. And for dreamcast--play grandia 2. The first few hours are a bit of a chore, but you'll never guess where it's going to end up. One of my favorite RPG's ever. And SF Rush 2049 is quite a surprise too. That game has so much unlockable/bonus content that it never really gets old (hint: turn the sound effects down a bit, and the music up) Edited April 10, 2008 by Reaperman
