ls650 #1 Posted April 12, 2008 I have an opportunity to buy a Pong cocktail table. The unit is not Atari, but some no-name clone. It operates okay. It's two to four players, and has both pong and hockey (with goals). The cosmetic condition is okay, and the quarter feed mechanism is working. The guy wants $150 for it. I am really tempted... even when I'm not playing Pong on it, I could throw a table cloth over it and use it as an extra table for light objects. What do you think? Retro Rogue #3 Posted April 12, 2008 Shouldn't this be in the arcade area?
ls650 #4 Posted April 12, 2008 Shouldn't this be in the arcade area? Oh, probably. If a mod reads this and wants to move it to arcade, please do so...

Otherwise its not really worth more than that for an arcade pong clone (there were so many), especially in todays home market for arcade games. I had bought one for $75 from a guy on ebay, but got ripped off when it came time to come pick it up (no phone calls back).
Crazy Climber #6 Posted April 17, 2008 If it is working and a cocktail unit I don't think $150 is out of line at all for a Pong Clone. Although they did make thousands of them, finding them in great working order is rare. Almost every one I have looked at has been dead or so close to dead that it wouldn't have been worth it.
