How hard is it to get a Qwak! machine?

Recommended Posts

Hey,

I played this game as a kid at a local convience store and didn't know the name of it until recent, I just thought it was duck hunt I played but I have come to find out it was actually Atari's Qwak! So ya I'm kinda intrested in getting one. How rare are they and roughly what are they worth?

It's a total longshot, one in a million but you never know. Try asking the former (or current) store owner about it. It might just be sitting in his garage or up at his cabin or something, worth a try but you might have trouble tracking them down :ponder:

So they are worth a small fortune then right? :(

Depends. I know of lots of rare arcade games that aren't worth diddly because they're junk. You couldn't pay someone to take something like, oh... H.B. Olympics, even though it's pretty rare. ;)

He died a few years ago but I still know how to get in touch with his family. Being a regular in their store for like 10 years when I was a lil fella they still say hi to me and stuff when I see them. His daughter owns a chip wagon in town. Think I might have to go buy a bag of fries soon :) Thanks for the idea.

No problem, they might at least be able to tell you who owns it now or possibly it was converted and they still have the PCB, marquee, etc..
