where can i download games for my mame?

hi can anyone tell me how to or send me a link to a site where i can download games for my mame i have a few of them but i want alot of cool sports and all types of games to choose from if anyone knows that would be great thanks

Just about any website you can get roms from (NES, Super NES, Genesis, E.T.C.) will have some mame roms.

If you have access to the newsgroups:

 

alt.binaries.emulators.mame

alt.binaries.emulators.arcade

alt.binaries.emulators.tosec

 

You'll be able to find all of them between those 3 news groups esp. in the first 2 I listed!

There are also websites which sell complete 11 DVD MAME sets which is over 40GB of just games. It is worth it if you do not want to track all of the games down and download them. I can send you a PM if interested. They run around $35 shipped for the complete 11 DVD set.

 

I started with the NewsGroups which is a Great Source but it just took forever to get everything that I wanted so the $35 was worth it for me. I have also tried Pleasuredome which is another excellent source but you do have to contribute back before you can download the big sets which is only fair but it takes a lot of time to build enough credit up.

 

I guess it just really depends on how much time and patience you have.

I use pleasuredome, but it's a ratio site, so you need to upload at least half of what you download.

Just search the normal torrent spots for MAME.

 

I just checked a place that rhymes with fryrate fay and there is an 18 gig MAME file with 6,000 titles included with over 60 active seeders.
