DracIsBack #27 Posted April 23, 2008 if you want to play an amazing game, pick up Dungeon and Dragons Treasure of Tarmin. I guarantee you're first thought will be...whoa i'm playing this on an intellivision. Is this the overhead perspective one or the first person perspective game? accousticguitar #29 Posted April 23, 2008 if you want to play an amazing game, pick up Dungeon and Dragons Treasure of Tarmin. I guarantee you're first thought will be...whoa i'm playing this on an intellivision. Is this the overhead perspective one or the first person perspective game? First person. I didn't like Tarmin myself; it's way too hard. I would search and search looking for that Minotaur, and then when I finally found him he killed me right away. I didn't stand a chance, so I gave up on it.

ratfink #31 Posted April 23, 2008 I'm curious about the third AD&D game: Tower of Doom. Has anyone ever played it? It looks really nice! It's awesome. It's basically a rogue-like. I had a complete copy (box and manual). You really need the manual as it's fairly complex. Randomly-generated dungeons give it lots of replayability. RickHarrisMaine #32 Posted April 24, 2008 Burgertime is madly addicting. Some of you may know that in my spare time (ha, like I have any), I'm a law student. If I'm lucky, I'll get a couple of hours a week to play anything. So I try to play a lot of games in those limited times. But one night, I just popped Burgertime in on my Intelly, and before I knew it, the night was gone, no studying done, and my hands were killing me! 4 straight hours will do that to you! I just played that one game!
thrax #33 Posted April 24, 2008 My favourite was definately Sword & Serpants. It was unique because it was a 2 player game in which each side had completely different characters (1 knight and 1 wizard). It also made use of the keypad too. THe bad knews is that it is a bit more rare than most.
Dr. Morbis #34 Posted April 24, 2008 Be sure to get Thunder Castle,The best graphics on the INTV bar none, plus its a great game also, rare stuff. How can you mention that game's graphics and NOT the music?!? Not only is it the best game on the system, but it has a one-two punch with the best graphics AND the best sound which, btw, features Gargamel's theme from everyone's childhood favourite show: the Smurfs! Nognir #35 Posted April 24, 2008 In the last few weeks I was trying to put up some reviews of Intellivision games. I leave you a link here to take a look: Intellivision Reviews I hope to get an own home for them soon like Planet Atari (I think it would be Planet Intellivision then ) but I'm afraid this will take a while. Also expect some more reviews every second day so it will be good to check again soon ^^ And don't push me too hard about the rankings

+Ransom #39 Posted April 24, 2008 I'm surprised that no one mentioned one of my favorite games for the Intellivision, Night Stalker. Bill I'm going to have to give that another try. So many people like that game, but I've never understood why. Obviously I must not understand the game! Any pointers on getting the most out of it? BydoEmpire #42 Posted April 25, 2008 Congrats. Don't listen to the haters, it's a great system. I recommend AD&D, Burgertime, Astrosmash, and Night Stalker - all common, easy to get into, and they hold up well.
classicgamer24 #43 Posted April 25, 2008 bydoempire thanks for the info homie and nice to meet ya by the way
Astrosmash #44 Posted April 29, 2008 Wow, so many recommendations and no love for Triple Action?!?! That's a must-own; the race car game is terrible, and the tank game is fun, but it's the Biplanes game that makes it totally worthwhile - that game will CONSUME you. Numan #46 Posted May 5, 2008 The key to Tarmin is to build up your stats before descending a level. I flipped it level-wise the other day. It took me over 150 levels to get that last magic book (the one you can see through walls). My suggestion would be Slam Dunk Super Pro Basketball, you can draft your own team!
