Bruce Tomlin #3 Posted April 29, 2008 Be very careful if you decide to rebuild the controllers. 1) they use (old) cellophane tape to hold parts together inside, so the controllers probably won't work 2) be very careful when re-assembling them because there are parts that will break if you (IIRC) put the controller upside down and apply pressure, like when using a screwdriver. Do NOT do anything which will cause the stick to get pushed into the controller! Yes, I broke one. But I did have two units, so I guess it wasn't quite as bad as it could have been. Tempest #4 Posted April 29, 2008 I don't think the controllers for my MP-1000 work either, I should give it a try. Incidentally did anyone else notice that they used calculator keys for the controller? That's because they also manufactured calculators at one point.
