display problem

i have an old display that i am using to extend my desktop, but it is realy giving me a head ache i try to get the picture to its biggest and it is fine until the sides BULGE out and i can NOT fix it.. any suggestions? i think i might have the wrong display chipset settings, but there are only 2 options and my computer wont let me select the generic option for the eternal motitor

now i think i had it by adjusting the resolution, but then i tried to move the image over and it stuffs it all in one corner :x :x :x :x :x
