JamesD #1 Posted May 6, 2008 Ok, the demo isn't bad at all... a little easy on the skill level I tried but the mechanics and controls seemed sound. What will make or break this game is how it builds on the demo level as you go. I was tempted to buy the full game but sticker shock prevents it. Anyone buy the full game yet? It's worth playing threw.
Crazy Climber #3 Posted May 6, 2008 Sucks balls according to IGN, they are tough graders but to get this low it must really suck http://xbox360.ign.com/articles/871/871715p2.html
JamesD #4 Posted May 7, 2008 (edited) Sucks balls according to IGN, they are tough graders but to get this low it must really suckhttp://xbox360.ign.com/articles/871/871715p2.html Well... I haven't played the whole game so I can't really disagree but... I expected a rating around 6. 1. He quit playing and it sounds like he didn't fully come to grip with the controls 2. He seems to have rated some stuff pretty low for what I have seen. I expected Lasting Appeal to be low but Sound 5 and Graphics 5? 3. His rating is lower than anyone else's. Sounds like a rental or bargain bin title. Maybe #2 will be better. <edit> oops... didn't see gamepro's review. A one shot kill cannon? Never a good idea in a game. moycon #5 Posted May 7, 2008 This is a game I'd pick up for $19.99 or under. (Like I did Beowolf, Eragon, or Superman Returns.) No way in hell would I pay $59.99 for a game based on a movie. History has shown that with few exception, they pretty much aren't worth full price. For $10-$20 you can forgive some shortcomings and if it gets too frustrating, you can rip it out of the console and stick it on eBay and just about get your $$$ back. It's worth a rental not a buy for sure. That is unless the buy price is within $5 of the rental which sometimes these games become within a month. My strategy has been to snag them for around $10-$20 play them for as long as I want until I get 100% achievements or until the lameness overtakes me, and then sell them on eBay and get most of my $$$ back. (Usually minus a few bucks...about the cost of a rental) Although these days 360 games are so cheap and plentiful new, you don't get as much $$ for the used stuff.
