Is it true that Activision games are hard to fit on a 7800?

Recommended Posts

I have no problems with any Activision carts.

they are pretty tight fitting on mine but work fine

They work fine on mine. Sometimes it takes a few tries, getting them to fit and read properly, but that happens on my 2600 sometimes with Activision carts as well.

It depends on the cart and on the specific 7800 console, but it does seem to be a more common problem with Activision carts. I've had a few Activision carts give me trouble.

Never had trouble with Activision, just Tigervision and Imagic- (some Imagic fit in some of my 7800s, no tigervision do, all Activion fit into most (all but one) of my 7800s)

My 7800 was purchased new in the early 1990's (ie. not one of the early ones) and I have no problem with Activision carts, just Imagic (I don't have any Tigervision).

They work fine on my system. It helps if you open up the console and remove the plastic thingy that surrounds the cartridge port...a utility knife, a good pair of pliers, and wrist-twisting did the trick for me. :)
