Any Famous Individuals Play Video Games?

Recommended Posts

Hi guys:

Got a question to ask. Are there any famous individuals out there in the world play video games frequently like us? I heard Edge & Kane (from WWE) have an Xbox 360, & play frequently on live with Call of Duty 4 & Halo 3.

Trent Reznor from Nine Inch Nails has said in various interviews that he's pretty hardcore when it comes to gaming, the last interview I read he talked about having a collection of arcade games in his basement of his Louisiana mansion/studio, he confessed to going out and spending up to 400$ every time he needed a gaming fix, he was trying to collect every home system he could and went into grave detail of the damage many of his controllers have suffered.

Also I guess he's credited with doing the music for the game Quake.

It's so common place now, it's almost not worth mentioning.. Most tour buses have a 360.. Lots of pro sports players are gamers..

U.K tv personality Jonathan Ross said that he has a Turbografx and also mentioned that he has every single console ever released. Hes a very funny guy :)

(for the U.K people, this was on Richard and Judy...the interviewer was doing some feature on sci fi or something , and happened to bump into Jonathan in a forbidden planet shop)

Red Sox pitcher Curt Shilling is an Everquest nut. He even wrote the review for one of the expansion packs for PC Gamer magazine.

I hear a lot of the WWE guys play games to blow off steam and relax.

... which provides reason for a familiar logo appearing on certain crates of ammo in the game.

Remember that show on G4 that was pretty much specifically about celebrities who play videogames? What the heck was the name...

I remember him being pictured playing Atari Lynx back in the day!
