For Promotional Use Only Not For Resale

Recommended Posts

I have a 4-switch woody with this stamped on the bottom. Doesn't mean anything special to be, but I know some of your weirdos collect all kinds of variations of things, so if someone wants this one (RARE PROMOTIONAL UNIT!!! :D ) before it heads to eBay with a lot of common games like any other extra console I have, let me know!

Is the promo stamp the only identifying feature on this unit? Some promos have polished chrome switch levers instead of the usual machined aluminum. Most promos have their trim paint and text in a more "yellow" shade than the usual orange.

You know, I thought the switches looked a little shiny and you're right on the money about the paint. Cool. I think the switches actually look very nice.

The promo stamp is actually branded into the bottom; it's not a sticker or anything like that. First time I've seen one of these.

I don't think these are exceptionally rare. I have one, and I don't even collect Atari 2600 with much enthusiasm. :)

Are you willing to sell it? I am interested. Thanks

I may be. Be warned, though, that I'm about to have its A/V connections modified for personal use. You can PM me if you have a solid notion of what you're offering.

I am interested but only if the connections are not modified.
Please PM with an offer. I don't read threads on the forum regularly, and I don't think others are interested in reading a two-way conversation in public.

This is what the original Promo boxes looked like. From what I am being told the box is worth as much as the console but a complete Promo system with box goes around $40 - $50. One just sold on ebay within the last 2 weeks for $56.
