Crack is one of the best ...ware (shar owas it free?) artist programme for st low available back in time. It has a lot of useful tools, you hardly find on commercial programmes of these days.

I was Degas Elite fan long time, until I got Crack Art in 1991. In my opinion this german program is the best graphics application for ST low resolution. As you can see I'm still working in it :).

I wonder how I've never heard of Crack Art? We were still very active on the ST in 1991. I too was a Degas Elite guy until getting D-Paint on the Amiga in 1988. Never did much like the interface of NeoChrome on the ST. Almost everything we did back then was worked on with either Degas or D-Paint although we did use Spectrum 512 to create some pics for a demo in 91

 

EDIT>> hmm. acording to the link above D-paint was released in 1990? is that right? I'm sure I had it earlier than that??
