I have at last got myself a 2600 I picked up cheap at a flea market since the ones I have at home are all boxed up. It is so nice to at last be able to play some games again! Though my "on the road" collection of games is a bit paltry I am quite proud of it. I was just wondering what some people would suggest as a few games with a party kind of feel? I am going to a buddies house in Hattiesburg MS and need to find something we all can enjoy. Most everything I have with me is single player games like Atlantis and Pitfall II. Anyone have any ideas for me? I am looking for some odd suggestions that are a bit outside the box.

4-player Warlords... or better yet, Medieval Mayhem. This does require 2 sets of paddles, but is a blast with 4 players.

 

I'd love to have a Warlords cocktail table for parties.

Hmmm, Decathlon, and if you're going to haul a bunch of hardware, bring Indy 500 and Party Mix along.

Alternating turns on Pac Man or Ms. Pac Man? I know they aren't as much fun as simultaneous, but for that, I'd recommend two-player Space Invaders. That's fun.

Combat, Space War, Armor Ambush, Circus Atari, Maze Craze, Sky Diver, Video Olympics...

 

These do the rounds quite often in my parties, as well as some already mentioned here.
