Using The Pill (etc.) with cart images?

For users of actual Atari hardware, I think this has some advantages. Has anyone done it before? What would be required is to make a Pill file from the cart image so that the image could be manipulated, hacked, etc. and easily tested. (Yes, it is probably even more easily done with the emulator.) I don't think it would be too difficult, but I never like to "reinvent the wheel" if possible.

Well, the answer to this was surprisingly easy -- The Pill uses an image file without adding anything to it, so it's really easy to make changes. Just copy the altered image back to a disk with the Pill Menu (AUTORUN.SYS) and the Pill loads it. Handy.
