KAZ #1 Posted August 17, 2002 I recently watched the movie "Road Trip", featuring Tom Green. I noticed that two characters were wearing Atari logo shirts. I thought it was most unusual. I was curious if one of the producers of this movie liked Atari, or might have worked for Atari, etc. etc. I placed this topic in the Atari 2600 section, not being sure which was the most appropriate forum to place it in. If you can find a better home for this topic... "r u too good for your home?" -Happy Gillmore

AtariDude #4 Posted August 18, 2002 I remember seeing the movie and the first thing that caught me was one of the characters had an Atari T-Shirt on. I have managed to find about 4 Atari related T Shirts here locally so I was struck immediately by the fact that one of the characters has the T-Shirt. I am curious as to why it was included in the movie other than the fact that they were taking about a specific event in the past and maybe they were making a reference to the fact that Atari was a large company during that time frame. Otherwise I don't remember it being a very important facet to the movie.
PeeknPoke #5 Posted August 18, 2002 I think it was used to make the geeky guy look more "geeky", no offence all The Atari t-shirt was ditched when he became cool and dated that fat girl later in the film. When i watched the film, all my mates laughed and pointed at me just because he was wearing that shirt! Lee
