Lost Monkey #3 Posted May 28, 2008 They both appear to have different controllers.. maybe one of them is not plugged in... We used to do that to grammy too...
rockman_x_2002 #4 Posted May 28, 2008 Looks like a generic PC controller similar to one I had in the mid-90s. Bought it for $5. Worked great, except my gaming port only allowed for a simple two-button controller, as opposed to the four-button configuration it had. As a side note, I also had a Gravis Gamepad with four buttons. Excellent controller, but I never could get it to work with four buttons, either.
A.J. Franzman #5 Posted May 28, 2008 They both appear to have different controllers.. maybe one of them is not plugged in... They're the same controller, just shown at different angles to the camera. The little girl's is almost perfectly edge-on, while "Granny's" is tilted so you can see the bottom.
oesii #6 Posted May 28, 2008 My first guess was a 3DO controller but I think generic PC joystick makes more sense for a prop.

+FujiSkunk #9 Posted May 28, 2008 (edited) Yep, looks like Saturn to me. Maybe they're playing Night Warriors. Edited May 28, 2008 by skunkworx
doubledown #10 Posted May 28, 2008 If they're Saturn controllers then they're 3rd party garbage. Sega's shoulder buttons are completely different than those pictured.
+FujiSkunk #11 Posted May 28, 2008 If they're Saturn controllers then they're 3rd party garbage. Sega's shoulder buttons are completely different than those pictured. Keep in mind Sega went through a couple of different designs for the Saturn controllers (and that's not counting things like the 3D controller or the steering wheel). Reaperman #12 Posted May 28, 2008 my first reaction was that they were saturn controllers--one a 'batwing' one the older style. Now, I'm leaning toward the PC crowd, the more I look at them. As far as identifying them, one thing's for sure and that's that those controllers were the cheapest available at the thrift store when the assistants went digging. Prodos8 #13 Posted May 28, 2008 If they're Saturn controllers then they're 3rd party garbage. Sega's shoulder buttons are completely different than those pictured. Yeah probably third party. I actually like them though. Here's a pic of the underside of a High Frequency Saturn controller: Look familiar?
