ninermaniac #1 Posted May 28, 2008 On my quest to reach new high scores in the vast amount of games, I have started with games I already have for my VCS. I sat down to beat the TwinGalaxies high score for Malagai. I was well on my way with 5 lives and reaching the mark set at around 52,000. I now know that the game rolls at just 40,000. I just wanted to let anyone out there who is trying to beat records that Malagai rolls at 40,000. So have your video camera ready at around 35,000 so when it rolls you can continue on. Now I must start over. Bummer.
+Omegamatrix #2 Posted May 28, 2008 Actually if you got that close already I'd say you're doing pretty good. Just feed it all into your recorder and then you won't have to worry about taking a photo.

AFAIK, in order to submit a record to TG, you must record the entire performance. A simple photograph of your score or short clip of you eclipsing the old score won't suffice. They haven't accepted those as proof for some time now...it's too easy to cheat.

You have to record your gameplay from before turning on the system until after you are complete.
godzillajoe #5 Posted May 29, 2008 Running yr 2600 through a VCR is the best way to do this. People still have those right?
