South Florida, 2600 gaming?

Recommended Posts

Does anyone know if there are any classic game shops in South Florida?

I'm taking a trip there this summer and hope to find a new source for games, if possible.

Thanks for any replies. I got one in Classic Gaming General--look at pawn shops.

There are a few overpriced places in malls but nothing worth going to in Palm Beach. Where are you going?

Nothing in Orlando either, in case you were thinking on swinging by here. Lot's of good bars though.

Palm Beach, eh Scott. I go there sometimes to the amphitheater if the band is worth the 3-hour drive. Is there anything at all there? We've never been able to find bars or m/hotels.

Yeah, i can second that for Palm Beach county, no classic gaming shops I'm aware of at all, tho seems to be Gamestops on every corner in my neck of the woods.

Thanks for the replies.

I'm headed to Ft. Lauderdale, Hollywood, and Miami.

I was told of a place called Game Time in Ft. Lauderdale, but I don't know if they carry vintage stuff. I may call them once I'm down there. They're located across from one of the public libraries, not far from the airport.

There is a classic videogame store in the Wellington Green Mall (Upstairs North End). Decent selection but everything is overpriced.

Cool, will have to check that out next time I'm up there, at least for window shopping :P

The fairgrounds are in between everything. Most of the decent bars are downtown West Palm Beach in City Place.
