+remowilliams #6 Posted June 4, 2008 The Satandisk SD / ACSI interface is one of the most awesome things you can have for an ST. You don't need to buy drivers, you can use ppera's free driver along with BigDOS and the ST can read/write FAT formatted SD cards directly. So incredibly handy, and the best way I've ever seen to move data ST<>PC. Satandisk thread here.
midnight8 #7 Posted June 4, 2008 Is something like this available to xl and xe machines? Or at least possible?
+remowilliams #8 Posted June 4, 2008 Is something like this available to xl and xe machines? Or at least possible? The 8 bits have a SD / floppy interface, the SIO2SD. Last I knew they were available in a 'bare' format from pigula, and in a cased format from mega-hz My SIO2SD here: For an IDE based solution there is the Atarimax "MyIDE+Flash" Cartridge, that can be used with IDE flash modules and HDs. carmel_andrews #13 Posted June 8, 2008 Satandisk for the ST....Sounds Evil....nice idea though, like having a potted hard drive/disk for the ST (if the SD cards are big enough memory wise)
Mark Wolfe #14 Posted June 9, 2008 I don't have an ST yet, but this would definitely put getting one at a higher priority as long as the cost is around the same as the Atarimax products.

JamesWD #20 Posted June 11, 2008 I have a Satandisk (from the orginal batch) and I can totally recommend them. Best thing i've bought for my ST for a very long time. Makes PC >ST and ST > PC very easy with the right software. All on memory cards so different HD configs for different tasks and easily swapable (not hotly though). It will be money well spent, and no I don't have any affiliation with the manufacturers. Enjoy
+Sauron #21 Posted June 11, 2008 Those look pretty cool. I assume they work fine with the Falcon?
Christos #22 Posted June 12, 2008 They are ACSI devices and the Falcon doesn't have an ACSI port... therefore no. But they are also not needed for the falcon.
ggn #23 Posted June 12, 2008 Those look pretty cool. I assume they work fine with the Falcon? Just get a 1€ (or $1 for americans) ide-cf adapter and a cf card and you're set . No need to mess around with scsi
