ninermaniac #1 Posted June 4, 2008 (edited) Hello eveyone. I usually stick with Atari collecting but recently started looking into other vintage gaming stuff. I recently picked up a Game Boy cart called 128-in-1. It's Japanese I suppose and I don't know a whole heck of a lot about Game Boy stuff. It's got games on it I have never heard before that are in English but can't find them listed pretty much anywhere. Does anyone know much about this game? shadow460 #2 Posted June 5, 2008 I used to have a multicart for the Game Boy. It had quite a few English titles on it, but I have no idea if they were ever released in the USA. I got mine in Hong Kong in 1994. Sadly, it died a few months later.

I got one at a CD Warehouse in Clarksville, TN. The shop guy said it was traded in by a soldier. It was $7.99. Cheap fun. AX
+FujiSkunk #4 Posted June 5, 2008 NES and Game Boy multi-carts were produced by the crateful back in the day, so yours probably isn't particular rare or valuable. It makes for a neat conversation piece, and lets you carry around a nice library of games without lugging 20 pounds of game cartridges. I found an NES multi-cart at a thrift store, once. While of course none of the "authorized" resellers would carry anything like this, they're easily found if you're willing to look. Thrift stores and mom-and-pop video game stores are your best bet. yuppicide #6 Posted June 11, 2008 (edited) Gameboy Multicarts are a dime a dozen.. well not exactly, but they pop up on eBay for 99 cents all the time. It is common for newer multicarts that work on the GBA/NDS to have NES games on it. The biggest one I've ever seen is 268 in 1. They sell for $81. Regular GB carts are usually cheap.. most of them I see for under $20 bucks, most of them contain the same games. Some of them have some different ones. I used to collect NES multicarts. Most of them had the same stuff, but once in awhile you'd find something different thrown in. I have a really interesting NES one. You would turn it on and get a menu with 32 in 1 games or something like that. When you turned it off and back on it would give you another menu for 28 in 1 or something like that. BUT if you insert the cartridge in slightly off (you know how finicky the NES was) it was possible to bring up a THIRD menu, but it didn't display properly. You could see totally different menu graphics, but I have no idea what games are in it. Edited June 11, 2008 by yuppicide

Warriorisabouttodie #8 Posted June 14, 2008 Here's a pic of the cart. that looks pretty cool... is there any kind of region protection on Gameboy Color carts? If not I would love to get one of those.
